Year 1 – Round 3 – Eaton

The Eaton boys are still plodding along

Jacob and Noah go for some groceries. Jacob pays for the food …

While Noah gets his flirt on with Marylena

The boys then visit small park and again Noah gets all the attention so Jacob makes everyone some hot dogs

Back at home Jacob meets Angie. While she is very nice Jacob isn’t really into her

Noah has dream date number 2 with Angel

Noah discovers his love of tinkering and Jacob his love of music

Noah pays the taxes and has a brain wave while he is on

He takes out a loan and sets up Eaton Electrics. He plans on selling alot more robots once his skills get better

He closes up the shop after getting rank 1

Noah gets better at robot building

Jan invites herself in and becomes Noah’s dream date number 4

She had brought Marissa along with her and Jacob took a major disliking to her. She was promptly asked to leave

Year 1 – Round 3 – Bennett

Back to the Bennett house

Sophia takes a trip to Polly’s Groceries as the fridge is running low

“Hows the cooking coming? Are we getting that bakery yet?,” Polly giggled. Sophia smiled, “I’m getting there. I think.” Polly smiled, “You should just go for it. I know you can do it.” Sophia held her hands up and waved Polly off, “Not any time soon.” Polly laughed “You can do anything you want, Soph, anything.” Polly hugged her friend and went to serve her customers

Kaylee soon discovered that her and Craig were going to have their hands full soon

Sophia makes sure the taxes get paid

“Soph, can we talk?” Sophia looked over and nodded. “Maybe without the book?” Sophia but her book down and turned to her friend. “Whats wrong?”

“Nothing is wrong. I just wanted to talk to you. Craig and I, we wanted to let you know that we will be moving out when the baby is born.” Sophia was stunned, she sat in silence for a few minutes. “But we’ve always lived together and I’m sure I could help with the baby.” Kaylee smiled. “All you’ve ever done is look after me, Soph. But now it’s time for me to look after myself. And you can finally live for yourself. You can’t change my mind, this is the right thing to do.” Kaylee got up and left Sophia sitting in shock

Kaylee tried to take her mind off Soph by playing with her ant farm

She soon had other things to worry about

First was baby Jackson who has his dads eyes

Shortly followed by Faith who has her mothers eyes

Sophia couldn’t be more pleased

Sophia helped out with the babies. She couldn’t help but feeling a little bit annoyed with Craig for taking away her best friend but she understood why they were moving out

All too soon its time for the twins to get older

“I’m sorry, Kaylee. I really hope you and Craig and the twins have the best life possible.” Kaylee hugged her friend hard. “You do know we’re going to be visiting constantly and your my number one babysitter.” Sophia laughed

“Look after my friend and those gorgeous babies.” Sophia pulled Craig in for a hug. “I promise and I promise we will visit so much you’ll be sick of us.”

Kaylee took on last look at the house, she then got into the taxi and waved goodbye to Sophia

At a bit of a loss Sophia called Polly and a long chat she vowed to herself to start living for her

Year 1 – Round 3 – Archer

Welcome back to Hartley Wood. We’re back with Lillian and her grand plans

She finally has a day off. So as she waits for Benji to wake up she spends some time playing chess

She takes Benji to Small Park and makes some new friends

Kennedy Grove walks by and Lillian finds she gets along very well with him

Lillian gets promoted to Campaign Manager and since she is already best friends with Polly that unlocks community lots for everyone to purchase

Lillian falls head over heels for Kennedy and asks him to move in

Kennedy agrees. Kennedy is a Family/Fortune sim with a LTW to earn 100,000 and despite being the sports hobby person he likes arts and crafts

Lillian makes sure she pays her share of the taxes into the town fund

Kennedy and Lillian then make things official

Lillian is convinced that Kennedy has given her food poisoning. Kennedy swears he hasn’t

She admits she is wrong when she finds out she is expecting a child

Hartley Wood gets its first proper snowfall and Kennedy shows his playful side by building a snowman

Lillian hits her second bump just as the last day ends. The Archers will have to wait till next season to meet their baby

 

Year 1 – Round 2 – Overview

Time to recap the round. Technically the second as we only started with one day left of summer

Here are the founders houses and the Small Park. The park is a free lot as there are 5 households

A few community lots were placed so they are ready to buy. Polly has the one on the far right. I need to put monique’s computer back in the game so she can get a loan to actually build a proper business. The larger lot in the middle is going to be Lillian’s for a city hall

Lillian Archer and Benji had an uneventful week, although Lillian is pretty pleased with how things are coming along

Kaylee married Craig and are getting used to living together. Kaylee can’t believe her luck at finally finding a husband that really loves her

Sophia is still pursuing her dream of being a celebrity chef and spends all her time researching recipes and learning new techniques

The Eaton boys are still enjoying life. Jacob is trying to learn all he can about everything, he feels even more confident now he managed to reconnect the water and power. Noah is doing what he does best and living life to the fullest

Chloe and Sam welcomes Ashley to the family and it didn’t take long before she was big enough to toddle around on her own. The family are expecting their second child soon

Polly continues with her goal of having a grocery store and working on her fishing skills, she still hopes to get into the Oceanography career soon

Year 1 – Round 2 – Elmore

Polly starts her week off with some fishing. She hopes that her fishing talent will help her get into the Oceanography career

Polly accidently sets the kitchen on fire. She probably should work on her cooking skills. Luckily she quickly gets her courage up and puts out the fire without incident

Polly opens up a small stall on her front lawn to sell her extra fish. Lillian walks by and offers her the chance to upscale. Lillian explains that another section of trees had been cleared and there was enough room for some small community lots. Polly readily agreed and closed her stall so she could concentrate on a bigger business

She got her very 1st harvest and couldn’t wait to open up her own little grocery store

Year 1 – Round 2 – Everhart

The Everhart Family

Chloe and Sam had decided that the house was far too quiet

“How are you feeling? Any twinges or anything? Can I get you something?” Chloe looked at Sam. “I’m fine, sweetie. Just relax, everything is fine.”

Chloe went off to get some rest but was interrupted by her second bump

She then had an interrupted bath. Clearly, this baby as going to be pushy

Baby Ashley was born. The first baby of Hartley Wood

Chloe gave Ashley her first bottle and settled her in the nursery. She then took herself to bed for some much needed rest

Sam woke the next morning and to make sure he hadn’t dreamt last night he checked in on baby Ashley

Realising that the fridge was getting dangerously low on food he quickly planted some tomatoes

While helping out Chloe discovered they were expecting their second child

Chloe couldn’t believe that it was Ashley’ birthday already

After a quick makeover Ashley was the cutest thing ever in Sam’s opinion

Year 1 – Round 2 -Eaton

Jacob had been given the daunting task of reconnecting the plumbing and electricity for the town. He was a little rusty on the mechanical side of things so he decided to brush up his skills. Luckily everything was in place, this had once been a camping resort with log cabins, so Jacob just had to work out how to get everything running again

“I should be working.” Jacob was worried about letting down the town. “Yeah, but you also need to eat, dude.” Noah gestured his fork at Jacob,  “And sleep while your at it.” Jacob could see Noah’s point. He was no good is he couldn’t even stay awake. “I’ll take a nap after breakfast.” Noah smiled, happy he had gotten through to his friend

While talking to a passer by Noah ended up on a blind date. He was surprised when Esther turned up, he didn’t expect to be so attracted to an older lady (he has 3 bolts with her)

Noah managed to bag his 1st dream date only 49 to go. He imagined he was going to see a lot of Esther

Jacob had finally learned how to reconnect everything. He went off to bed to get a good night’s sleep, he had a lot of work to do tomorrow

Esther dropped by with a present for Noah. He was very grateful but the household needed money more than a stereo so he promptly sold it

After Jacob had reconnected everyone’s houses he managed to catch Lillian and tell her the good news. “That’s wonderful, Jake. We can’t thank you enough.” Jacob laughed, “Clean running water and throwing out all the candles are thanks enough.” Lillian whole heartedly agreed

Year 1 – Round 2 – Bennett

Sophia quietly builds up her cooking skill so she can one day open her own bakery and become a celebrity chef

Meanwhile Kaylee is searching for Mr. Right. Craig Ray walks by and Kaylee wonders if maybe he might be the one

Craig seems to think that Kaylee is right for him

They move on very quickly. Kaylee has a moment of hesitation but then decides to go with her heart

After Craig leaves for the night Kaylee takes a bath and thinks over what she’s done. If Craig didn’t come back at least she hadn’t married him

Sophia had spent the night out of the way learning new recipes

Craig came back the next day and Kaylee asked him to move in. He was overjoyed and of course said yes

Craig Ray is a Knowledge/Family sim with a LTW to become a Criminal Mastermind

“So, this is really good grilled cheese” Sophia turned to Craig and fixed him with a very serious look. “I’m only going to say this once. You break her heart and I swear I will make your life miserable. She has been through enough and she doesn’t need you making things worse. I’ve picked her up too many times and I refuse to let it happen again.” Sophia went back to her sandwich. Craig swallowed his bite. “I promise I won’t hurt her. I love her more than anything. I know promises can mean nothing so I’ll show by being by her side for the rest of my life.” Sophia nodded her acknowledgement. “We’ll see.”

The following morning Craig and Kaylee started off the day together

“Kaylee, I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” Kaylee had no words she simply squealed in delight

The morning after the couple had a private ceremony in the living room

“I’m really not sure grilled cheese is meant to taste like this, honey.” Kaylee took another bite. “I tried a new cheese, it’s really strong.” Craig nodded, “but is it meant to be green?” “Sure why not?” Craig couldn’t think of a good reason so he ate the rest of his sandwhich

 

 

Year 1 – Round 2 – Archer

Lillian starts of the morning with a nice bowl of cereal while thinking of plans for the town

Her thinking was interrupted by her carpool. She was spending time with the nearby town’s mayor to pick up some tips and by nearby she meant an hour in the car.

After her first day the mayor had given her a lot to think about and now she had a starting point

That very night she called the other residents to her home and over some mac and cheese they had the very first council meeting. “So, does anyone have any idea how to get the plumbing and electricity back on?” Polly turned to Lillian. “Jacob had a few ideas he likes to tinker with stuff, he was telling us on the way here. I’d ask him when is quiets down a bit, though. He doesn’t like the limelight.” Lillian nodded her thanks and glanced over at Jacob. She would catch him before he left

Marylena came home with Lillian after work the next day and they became quite good friends. Marylena was really impressed with the plans that Lillian had for Hartley Wood

After a rather hectic week Lillian spends some much needed time with Benji. Poor little guy had been neglected a little bit this week. At least things were moving along now

Year 1 – Round 1 – Intros

Welcome to the first round of Hartley Wood. The residents have moved in with one day left of summer so this will just be an intro round but I will still class it as round 1 for neatness.

The first house belongs to the founder of Harltey Wood

Lillian Archer had always been a big dreamer but now she was finally doing something about it. Lillian is a Fortune/Family sim with a LTW to become the city planner. First she had to get the community up and running before she could let her creative side run wild

She had brought along her trusty sidekick Benji. He was settling in well and loving the space to run around

The next house belonged to the Bennett family. Best friends Kaylee and Sophia had decided to band together and follow Lillian on her grand adventure

Kaylee is a Family/Grilled Cheese sim with a LTW to Reach her Golden Anniversary. She was desperate to fall in love. After two failed marriages she was convinced that the thrid had to stick

Sophia is a Popularity/Fortune sim with LTW to become a celebrity chef. She really hoped that she could finally get somewhere close to her culinary dreams. Although keeping Kaylee out of trouble was starting to feel like a full time job

This house belongs to the Eaton boys. After living through Simcity’s foster system they had stuck together and gone out on their own

Noah is a Pleasure/Romance sim with a LTW to have 50 Dream Dates. He just wants to have fun and lots of it

Jacob is a Knowledge/Family sim with a LTW to max out 7 skils. He is hoping for more spare time in this quieter town so he can concentrate on his skills. He might have to do something about the power first though

The Everhart family moved in next. The young couple had finally escaped the overbearing Simcity

Samuel, Sam for short, is a Family/Fortune sim with a LTW to graduate 3 kids from college. Sam can’t wait to start his family with Chloe

Chloe is a Family/Knowledge sim with a LTW to Have 6 Grandchildren. Chloe is looking forward to spending more time with Sam and finally starting to live her own life
